Play Date

This morning we went to Matthew and Riley's' house for play date. Mallory and Macey came too. The kids had a great time together playing. They are all growing up so fast. I am looking forward to many more play dates over spring break and this summer when baby Will arrives!!! What a great morning!

Surprise Bunco Shower

Tonight my college bunco group suprised me with a baby shower. I was so suprised. I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends. I truly always feel blessed because of all the amazing friends I have in my life. I am one lucky girl. Thanks girls for making this so special for me. Love ya!!!! I am putting away Will's close as we speak. I am loving the boys clothes...too cute! :)

Baby Chicks

This week I brought home the baby chicks I was hatching in my classroom so Alivia could see them. She was so excited for me to bring them home. On the way home one of the other chicks was pecking at the brown chick and knocked him in the water. When I got home he was completely drenched in water laying on his back and wasn't moving at all. He was barely even breathing. Of course, I was freaking out that this chick wasn't going to make it. I ran inside and got Ben because I knew he would love helping because he is such an animal lover. He immediately picked him up and started blowing air on him. His eyes were still not opened and he wasn't moving. It was like he was in cardiac arrest, not kidding. Anyway, he kept blowing air into his beak and then brought him inside and blow dried him to keep him warm. He then let him lay on his bare chest for most of the night to keep him warm. It was so neat to see this little guy come back to life. He eventually started walking and chirping and doing great. The next morning we were so glad to see that he was doing better. He definitely had a beat up beak but was doing great!! Ben is officially a "chick whisperer!" ha!!! Definitely a good story to tell....

Maternity Clothes Shopping

Today Heather, Amy and I went to lunch at Houlihans and then went maternity clothes shopping. Heather and Amy are great friends from college. Heather is 14 weeks and due August 31st. I am so happy for her to experience mommyhood. We had a great girls day together shopping and catching up. I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends like Heather and Amy. I had a great time girls. Love you!!!

First Dentist Cleaning

Today Alivia had her first teeth cleaning. Last year when she was two she had her "happy visit" at the office but this time was the real thing. She did absolutely perfect and completely shocked me. I thought for sure when the tools started drilling and etc...she would not have it but she loved it. She brought her Dora goes to the dentist book and on each page she would tell the Dentist what to do next. It was too cute. I was so proud of her. Here are a few pics from this afternoon!

WIll's Nursery In Progress...

Ben finished painting yesterday and we were then ready to move the furniture back and start decorating. We were so excited to hang sports stuff. Here are the beginnings of the nursery. We have some pillows, quilts, basket liners and areas rugs on the way but we got a good start on it. We can't wait for our little guy to arrive!

Spin Pizza

Tonight we went to Spin Pizza for the first time with Chad, Kristin and Jensen. Alivia loved seeing Jensen and even taught him some of her ornery moves, like spill my entire lemonade on the table. Ha! She was definitely not on her best behavior but we had a good time and the pizza was great. Here is a pic of the kiddos! I am sure Jensen was scared to death!!!! We are going to have to work on gentle touches with her new baby brother......
