Alivia's Christmas Program

Alivia's Christmas progrma was cancelled due to a snow day so it was rescheduled 2 days after Christmas. We were so proud of her big singing voice. I was quite surprised because she is normally shy in situations like this. NOT this time. So proud of her little girl!

BIG voice!

Visiting Bass Pro Santa

The kids did such a great job visiting Santa today. Alivia didn't talk to him but she got up there with all smiles!! We tried to get a family photo but neither of the kids would look at the camera. ha!!

Learning to Read

Alivia woke up this morning and wanted to practice her letters!! I was shocked because this never happens. Of course, I took full advantage of this and pulled out my "teaching skills." ha! I was so proud of her when she wrote and read this word all by herself. She LOVES when I read to her but practicing her letters and sounding out words isn't her favorite thing to do. So...I have been getting creative to make it fun for her! My little girl is growing up so fast. She is going to be 4 in a few months. Crazy how time flies! We love our fun, sassy and loving little girl!

6 1/2 Months

This picture just tells it all about this little guy! I know I say this all of the time but he really is the happiest baby in the world. He makes our family so complete. We just love him so much!

Santa Bus

We love that the Grain Valley Santa Bus stops by our neighborhood each year. Both kids sat on his lap with no problem, I was shocked! Alivia was super shy but at least she sat on his lap. We had a fun day decorating for Christmas in our pajamas. I love this time of year!

Our Elf on a Shelf has arrived!!! TOO FUN!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with both of our families. We have so much to be thankful for this year. I was just telling Ben that I don't know how lucky I got to have such a wonderful family. I truly have never been more thankful in my life. So blessed! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

6 Months

Will had his 6 Month check-up today. He was in the 47th percentile for weight and the 67th for height. We are so blessed to have a healthy and happy little guy! He is such a big boy now sitting up all my himself. We are so thankful for him each and every day!

First time eating green beans! He loves all food! ha!

Tired Sunday

Ben was gone in Columbia all weekend for a bachelor party. I was hosting bunco Saturday night so my mom and dad had the kids all night. Needless to say everyone is a little tired today! This picture just makes me smile. I am so blessed to have such wonderful kids and an amazing husband! LOVE YOU!

Romney Pumpkin

I am not much of a political debator but most of you know that Ben definitely is! I just had to post this carving that he made. I can't believe it didn't get smashed. He actually threw it away after we went to bed on Halloween night so it would get destroyed. ha! Gotta love Ben's expert carving skills!

Halloween with the Stoffregens

We ran into Ashley and the kids when they were leaving my grandma's house. We were glad we were able to get some pictures of everyone together even if they weren't looking at the camera. ha! We are looking forward to meeting baby #3 this week!!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!

Happy Halloween

Alivia had so much fun trick or treating this year and she also loved passing out candy too. Will was just getting over the croup but he was still in good spirits, as usual! :) If you can't tell I am supposed to be Blueberry Muffin. My mom was actually going to wear the costume but then she let me wear it to school and she ended up being Spiderman. I am bummed I didn't get any pictures of her dressed up because it was too funny. However, I did get a picture of Grammy dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. I seriously have the cutest 92 year old grandma ever! We hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!

Preschool Halloween Party

I was so glad I took the morning off to be at Alivia's Halloween party. I loved seeing her with her friends and especially her "boyfriend" Matthew. Ashley and I love that they are in the same class and the teachers say they just love each other. :) What a fun morning!

Pumpkin Carving Fun!

This afternoon Ben carved pumpkins with the kids. Will just watched in amazement as Ben and Alivia cleaned out the pumpkin. They also cooked the seeds...yummy! I will post another picture of the finished product soon! Ben is quite the carver!
