GRADUATES Yogurt Melts and Puffs

Today we decided to buy some Graduates Yogurt melts and Puffs for Alivia so should could have some snacks. Thanks Ashley for reminding me about these snacks! She wasn't quite sure about them but mommy and daddy had fun watching her. She usually doesn't like stuff the first time so I am sure she will like them once she gets used to it. We were so..amazed that right when we put the puff on her tray she picked it up and put it right in her mouth. We thought she would drop it or need us to feed it to her. What a big girl!! After her first snack time Alivia had a good nap while daddy was working on his assignment for his class and mommy when to school to work in her classroom for a while. When mommy got home we went to Walmart and back up to school with mommy so daddy could concentrate on his homework. We had a great and busy Sunday! :)

What is this thing?

Mmm...puffs are pretty good!! What flavor is this?

Daddy in Vegas

Daddy left for Vegas with a friend on Thursday so Mommy and Alivia hung out at Grandpa and Grandma Stewart's house over the weekend. Friday Alivia stayed with Grandma Sara instead of going to Janet's house and she had so..much fun. Of course, Alivia missed Janet and her friends at the babysitter but she LOVES getting spoiled at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Mommy went out with some of her teacher friends after school and Alivia spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Of course, she was a little angel while she was there! On Saturday morning Mommy, Alivia, Grandma and Grammy went shopping at Town Center all day! This was Alivia's first time shopping ALL day. She has been shopping many times but not ALL day. She was such a good girl. While we were eating lunch at Houlihans Alivia had her first bottle in a restaurant, her first water spill and her first diaper change in a public bathroom. Some of you might think it is weird that she hasn't had a bottle in a restaurant yet but her schedule just isn't ever during lunch or dinner when we go out to eat so we have never had to do it yet. Also, you might think it is weird that she hasn't been changed on a changing station yet but I would change her in the car instead because those things weirded me out. Now that I have overcome the changing station it isn't so..bad. Well, yes, she knocked a whole glass of water on Grandma and then pooped her pants. It was pretty funny actually. First time for everything I guess. Here are a few pictures of Alivia playing over the weekend. She LOVES her new high chair and exersaucer at Grandma and Grandpas. She is also starting to pull up on things. It is so..fun to watch her! :)

Look! I can stand up!!

Making faces at Grammy!

I love to stand on my tippy toes...I am going to be a ballerina!

Mommy as a Jungle Gym!

Alivia's new favorite thing is to climb on people and use them as a jungle gym. It is so..cute how she works so..hard to climb over our legs and pulls herself up over our shoulders. She is doing something new every week. It is so..fun to watch her! :)

Ready to go get mommy....
Almost there.....

Crash...

I pulled up all by myself...mommy is about ready to tip over...ha!

I am almost to her shoulders....
I love mommy!!! :)

Big Girl Bed!

Well our little active angel is growing up. It seems too soon to lower her bed to the lowest setting AND take out the bumper pads since she is only 6 months old but she can pull herself up and she was standing on top of the bumper pads looking over the edge so we had to take them out. When she started rolling over at 11 weeks I took the bumper pads out but she kept getting stuck in between the posts so I had to put them back in. Well now the bumber pads are out again and I bet it will be for good this time. WOW...how the time has flown by! Pretty soon she will be walking around and we will be chasing her. Where did our little baby go?? We are LOVING seeing her little personality grow everyday. She is talking a lot now by saying da...da...da...da.. and bla...bla..bla....Of course, I have read that saying da...da...is easier to say but I think it is easy to say she said da...da...first because she is constantly saying it. It is too funny! :)

Time for bed!! :)

I love my bunny!!!
Mommy, I like the higher bed setting because I could see you better!

Alivia's First Cold

Yesterday Alivia got her first cold or really stuffy, runny nose. She was up a couple times last night and we were using that little noses stuff and sucking her nose every few hours. She is normally such a good sleeper at night so we knew it was bothering her pretty badly. The poor thing could hardly breathe. I just wish there was something you can give a 6 month old for a cold but the dr.'s say there isn't anything I can give her. Well, tonight after I picked her up from the babysitter we played outside for a while because the fresh air seemed to make her nose a little less stuffy. While we were outside Daddy decided to mow Alivia a picture in the grass. Ha, ha! For all of you who don't know Ben is obsessed with mowing the grass so I thought it was hilarious that he mowed a picture in the grass. Here are 2 pictures of Ben's masterpiece of art!! Alivia is sound asleep right now after a warm bath and some more nose sucking so hopefully she will sleep better tonight and her cold will be better for Janet's house tomorrow. :)

Playing with Daddy

After church this morning Alivia enjoyed playing with da..da in her room. Daddy put on a hat that grammy got her from Estes Park, Colorado. Alivia had fun modeling in her bed and standing by herself like a big girl!! Daddy LOVES putting hats on Alivia. He can't wait for her to be Daddy's little buddy at the Royals and Chiefs games. Oh yeh...Alivia watched her first Chiefs game Saturday night...well sort of. She pretty much feel asleep on the couch at the beginning of the game but we tried to keep her up to see a little bit of it. GO CHIEFS!!

Having fun with da..da!! :)

I am SO...BIG! :)
Ornery face!! I think we are in trouble! ha!

6 Month Pictures!

Today we got Alivia's 6 Month pictures taken at the Picture People. We got her 3 Month pictures taken at Portrait Innovations and Ben and I both think Portrait Innovations is the way to go for the cost. We got some cute pictures at the Picture People but they are more expensive and you don't get near as many pictures. I wish I could post some pictures but we did not get the CD so if you would like to see the pictures e-mail me at whitneykricheson@hotmail.com and I can send you the album link!! We can't believe Alivia is already 6 months old!! Yesterday was Alivia's first full week at the babysitter and she has been such a good girl. We are so..blessed to have such an amazing babysitter. Thank you Janet for being so wonderful! :)

First Day at the Babysitter

Today was Alivia's first day at Janet's house...her wonderful babysitter! She had an excellent report and was such a good girl. She took 2 great naps! Janet even e-mailed mommy 4 times during the day to let her know what she was doing. She also wrote out a note to mommy about what she did during the day and how she ate and slept. We are so..grateful to have such a wonderful babysitter that we can take her to everyday. I will post some pictures of her with her new friends at the babysitter soon! :)

Eating Chicken

Tonight was Alivia's first time eating Chicken and Gravy and her first time in her high chair. Since she is sitting up a little better we thought it was time to try out her high chair. She did such a great job. She wasn't sure about the first bite of chicken but after that she LOVED it!! Next we are going to try ham and turkey. Here are some funny pictures below! :)

Happy 6 Month Birthday Alivia!

Today is Alivia's 6 Month Birthday. During her afternoon nap I had just checked on her before these pictures and she was sound asleep. Within probably 2-5 minutes she managed to wake up and pull her knees underneath her and look over the railing. I quickly got my camera and took this pictures and then I got my phone and took a picture to send daddy at work. I guess it is time to lower the bed now. Our little girl is growing up. She also got her first packaged mail today from Grammy (grammy is my grandma so Alivia's great grandma). She got a cool book that helps her with letters and sounds and plays cool noises and her first bath book. Great gifts grammy!! Tomorrow is Alivia's 6 Month check-up and shots. :( Maybe we will get to start meat soon! I am not sure how all of that works so we will see what Dr. Powell has to say. At her 4 Month check-up she was very scared of Dr. Powell because she was going through a stranger anxiety stage so hopefully this time she will like him a little bit better. Happy 1/2 Birthday to Alivia!! :)

Hey there Mommy! I am having so much fun
while you are not in here! :)
She thought it was so...funny!! :)

Ha, ha, mommy I can get out!

Crawling and Sitting Up

I got some cute pictures this morning of Alivia during play time. She is getting better and better at scooting and it almost looks like crawling now. I think once she can sit up all by herself with no hands she will be crawling everywhere! She can sit up by balancing herself with her hands in the front so I am sure within no time she will be sitting up by herself. She has also enjoyed playing with Daisey and Izzey during play time. Daisey and Izzey LOVE her and as you can see Izzey loves her a little too much because she always tries to kiss her in the face but Alivia really doesn't mind. :) Alivia will be 6 months on Friday so we will be getting her shots Friday morning. :( Alivia is starting to wear 3-6 months clothes and size 2 diapers and has officially grown out of most of her 0-3 month clothes but probably could still wear size 1 diapers. Mommy can't wait to go shopping for 6-9 months clothes but I am sure that will be a little while. Our little girl is growing up so...fast!

Daisey says, "Come on Alivia you can do it!"

First Time at Church

Ben and I have not been to church since Alivia has been born...I know, I know, shame on us! I was too nervous to take Alivia there afraid she would cry or something.....bad excuse! Anyway, we went today and she was such a little angel. She loved all the music and never let out a peep. We are hoping to get her baptised within the next few months! She will be 6 months on Thursday! WOW, the time has flown by!! :)
