Romney Pumpkin

I am not much of a political debator but most of you know that Ben definitely is! I just had to post this carving that he made. I can't believe it didn't get smashed. He actually threw it away after we went to bed on Halloween night so it would get destroyed. ha! Gotta love Ben's expert carving skills!

Halloween with the Stoffregens

We ran into Ashley and the kids when they were leaving my grandma's house. We were glad we were able to get some pictures of everyone together even if they weren't looking at the camera. ha! We are looking forward to meeting baby #3 this week!!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!

Happy Halloween

Alivia had so much fun trick or treating this year and she also loved passing out candy too. Will was just getting over the croup but he was still in good spirits, as usual! :) If you can't tell I am supposed to be Blueberry Muffin. My mom was actually going to wear the costume but then she let me wear it to school and she ended up being Spiderman. I am bummed I didn't get any pictures of her dressed up because it was too funny. However, I did get a picture of Grammy dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. I seriously have the cutest 92 year old grandma ever! We hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!

Preschool Halloween Party

I was so glad I took the morning off to be at Alivia's Halloween party. I loved seeing her with her friends and especially her "boyfriend" Matthew. Ashley and I love that they are in the same class and the teachers say they just love each other. :) What a fun morning!

Pumpkin Carving Fun!

This afternoon Ben carved pumpkins with the kids. Will just watched in amazement as Ben and Alivia cleaned out the pumpkin. They also cooked the seeds...yummy! I will post another picture of the finished product soon! Ben is quite the carver!

Family Pictures

This morning we had our family pictures taken. Allison Gardner, my very good friend, took the pictures. Here are a few of the many pictures she took. She is so good at what she does. I can't believe Will is already 5 months and Alivia will be 4 in just 3 months. Crazy how time flies. We are loving every second of having 2 kiddos. We are blessed!

Visiting Uncle Phillip

Since I had the day off due to parent-teacher conferences my mom and I and the kids decided to drive to Columbia to see Uncle Phillip and his new apartment. We went to lunch and just had fun hanging out. How did I ever get so lucky to have such a wonderful brother? Love you Phillip and thanks for being such a great Uncle too. Hope to see you soon!!

Princess Party Number 2!

This month has been full of princess parties! Brielle invited us to her dance studio for a tea party. It was too cute. The ballet dancers entertained us and the girls were in awe.....of their dancing. Alivia was full of energy after the dancing was over. I am not sure if she had too much chocolate during the tea party fun or she just was having a silly day. I could barely get her in the car because she was "cracking" herself up about everything. Needless to say I had a mommy frustrating moment and she spent some time in her room when we got home but we still had a wonderful time! Thanks Brielle and Cassie for a great afternoon!

Reading at Night

This was Alivia's favorite book when she was a baby. Tonight I decided to start having Alivia read it to Will. It was such a wonderful moment. Alivia loved every second of it and Will was mesmerized! LOVE my sweet babies! :)

Princess Party

We went to a princess party hosted by the Blue Springs School District. Alivia had a great time getting her fingernails painted, make-up done and much more. Since Ben was out of town I took both kids by myself. We did great up until the very end when we were walking to the car and Will fell out of the stroller onto the cement. Poor baby was ok but not one mom stopped to help me. I was in shock as I picked him up and his lip was bleeding. Thankfully he was ok but of course I couldn't believe that I had forgotten to strap him back in the stroller. Lesson learned! I was just thankful that my little guy was ok. Alivia was such a good helper during the incident too. So....Will's first princess party experience wasn't exactly a success but Alivia still had a wonderful time. :(

Cassie's Baby Shower

Today we had a baby shower for my good friend Cassie. Cassie and I taught together and got our administration degrees together. She is a vice principal now in the district. I miss our weekly Wednesday nights together at class. She is such a great friend and I am so glad we have gotten close over the last couple of years. It was a great day celebrating baby boy Gengelbach! Can't wait to meet him!
