Play Date

Today the Mommy's and the Daddy's got together for a play date during the Chiefs game. It has been a while since all of the kids have gotten together. Aven is almost 4 months, Makena nd Claire are 6 1/2 Months and Alivia is 9 Months! We had sooo much fun watching them interact and playing together while the mommy's and daddy's hung out too!! They are growing so fast!

Jennifer Ireland Cancer Walk

This morning we did the Jennifer Ireland Cancer walk. It was a beautiful morning and we had a great time. Alivia even got to be with Makena, Aven, Matthew, Ellie and Alex. I was very surprised that Alivia stayed in her stroller the entire walk because she usually wants to jump out of the stroller but she did very well. After we got home she went down for her nap at 1:00 and slept until 4:30...maybe we should do a long walk every morning during her normal morning nap time to wear her out?? What a great day it was!

9 Months Old

Here are a few pictures of Alivia on her 9 Month Birthday today. Here are 9 of the many things we LOVE about her:
1. She screeches da, da, in a high pitch voice
2. Plays under the kitchen table like it is a fort and crawls playing catch me if you can
3. Loves it when the dogs lick her feet
4. Screams and giggles when her thighs are tickled
5. Waves bye and bye and her little hand goes up and down..it is soo cute!
6. Stands up in her bed and makes bite marks on her bed while she waits for us
7. Talks in bed when she wakes up in the morning and we can hear her!
8. Dances to the ABC song on her stand-up toy
9. When she snuggles at night time and reads her bed time story

9 Month Check-Up

Today was Alivia's 9 Month check-up and Daddy and Mommy both got to go to the appointment which was nice. She weighed 15 lbs 8 oz and in the 7th percentile for weight and was 26 inches long so she was in the 10th percentile for height. Our little munchkin is little but fast as can be. Dr. Powell said we can start her on dairy products like cottage cheese, yogurt and etc...and see how she does and then if she does great we can ease her off of the yucky nutramigen formula onto a normal formula for the last 3 months. I can't believe she will be drinking whole milk from a cup soon! SCARY! We also have decided to take her off the zantac and she is doing great without it...thank goodness! She had 2 shots today...one was half of another shot that mommy divided into 2 and the other shot was the last half of her flu shot. She also got pricked in the finger for an iron test...she hated that! The poor thing was screaming and we couldn't get her finger to stop bleeding. We came home and she ate lunch and went sound asleep. Hopefully she will take a great nap..she is still asleep while I am writing this! I will post some 9 Month pictures soon! :)

Parents as Teachers Visit

Today our parents as teachers lady, Stacie, came to visit. She decided to do Alivia's 9 Month screener on all of her developmental milestones. The screener was divided into communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving, personal-social and overall score-Alivia scored 60/60 on ALL of the areas. Our little girl is such a little sponge and picks up on everything. We are soo blessed to hear that Alivia is ahead of where she is supposed to be on her development. Alivia will be 9 months on Friday....Happy early birthday Alivia! :)

Halloween Night

We had a lot of fun on Halloween Night. To start off the night Matthew came to visit Alivia. We had fun taking pictures of Pooh and Strawberry. After Matthew left Mommy and Daddy finished getting their costumes on and went over to our neighbors house for a cook out. Grandpa and Grandma Stewart and Grammy came to visit us. Alivia was sooo tired by the end of the night that she fell asleep at 6:30 with her head straight up in my arms. She didn't get to go on the hayride with the big kids but she had a great time at the cook out. Alivia had a great first Halloween! :)

Halloween Day

Alivia woke up in a great mood on Halloween so I dressed her up in her Halloween outfit and took some pics of her playing in her room. We then had a great day of fun carving pumpkins with Daddy. Alivia even put her hand inside the pumpkin and tried to eat the seeds!! ha! Daddy LOVES carving pumpkins. This year he carved a skeleton and a puppy. Alivia LOVED helping Daddy. We also had fun playing outside with the scarecrows. It was pretty funny how Alivia would stare at them!! We had a great day of fun!! :)
