Mother's Day Treat

This morning I woke up to the best mother's day gift ever.....paradise in my living room! Ben kept asking me what I wanted and I said margaritas and pool side! ha!! So he set up this in the living room. He bought me a new chair, towel, cover with a pillow and a drink bottle. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband who is always thinking of the sweetest gifts. Alivia helped set this up and was so excited to wake me up to eat breakfast in my new chair. I am so thankful for my wonderful family. Love you guys!

Mother's Day Tea

At Alivia's preschool today they had a Mother's Day tea celebration. It was the cutest thing ever. The kids were all standing up at their chairs when we came in so the mom's could sit in their chairs. It was so cute! They then served us colored mints, cookies, chocolate covered strawberries and punch. Alivia also made a poem table setting and described all her favorite things about me.

 Here are some of my favorites that Alivia said. She actually did a pretty good job!

My favorite place to go: McDonalds (ha! I LOVE McDonalds)

My favorite t.v. show: Dancing with the Stars

My hair color: blonde

My eye color: brown

My age: 4 (He, he!)

My favorite animal: camel (I thought this was hilarious. NOT sure where that came from)

Picture Week

Today was picture day for Alivia's first recital. She was so excited to get all dressed up and most importantly wear make-up. She also has a father-daughter dance but I didn't get a picture of them all dressed up yet. They are pretty cute though. They are wearing matching jungle togas. The recital is June 3rd. We can't wait. Alivia is also excited for her baby brother to be at the recital too! :)

Happy 1st Birthday to Jensen

Today we celebrated Jensen's First Birthday. Jensen is our sweet God son. We are so blessed to have him and his family in our lives. What a great day together. We love you Jensen!! You are so sweet. We can't wait for you to teach Will everything you know. BOYS RULE!!!!:) LOVE YOU!

My Shower

Today my wonderful friends had an amazing shower for me. I was so overwhelmed with everything I received for baby Will. I truly feel so lucky to have such amazing friends in my life. I am one blessed girl for sure! I can't say thank you enough for a day I won't forget. LOVE YOU ALL!

Happy Birthday Makena

Today was Makena's 3rd Birthday. We were so excited to celebrate with her. Makena's mommy and I went to college together. We love how the girls are the same age. It is so fun for us. The girls had a great time playing together with all their friends. Happy Birthday sweet girl! Love ya!

Lees Summit Hall of Fame

Tonight my grandma was inducted into the Lees Summit High School Hall of Fame. Here is a picture of her standing under her high school senior picture. She is 91 and is still amazing and she was when she was 17, her senior year of high school. She truly is such an amazing person. I hope to be just like her one day! I love you Grandma. Thanks for being my role model and best friend for all these years. :)
