Sonic Drinks

So apparently Alivia LOVES sonic drinks. My dad goes to sonic almost every day so when Alivia is at Grandma and Grandpa Stewart's she downs the sonic drinks. I was over there yesterday and witnessed her chugging from the straw. It was too funny! Spoiled rotten much???

She even gets to eat the cherry at the end! lol

Happy 4th of July

We had a great day with family and friends. Ben and I spent the day with friends on the lake while Alivia played and went swimming with Grandma and Grandpa Stewart. My mom and dad and Grammy came over for dinner and fireworks. Thanks for all the fireworks Grandpa Stewart. Daddy and Uncle Phillip had a blast shooting them off. Alivia even made it awake until 10:15. We hope everyone had a great 4th of July!! We sure did!

Beginning of 4th of July Festivities

Today we had a great pool day with Chad, Kristin, Shannon and Ben. These are our great friends. We were at the pool from 12:30-4:00 and Alivia was such a good girl. She absolutely LOVED eating snacks in her wagon and this also kept her very busy. As you can tell from the pictures Alivia got her first little sunburned but it isn't too bad and it doesn't bother her at all, thank goodness. I felt terrible when she woke up from her nap and I saw her little rosy cheeks but thank goodness it wasn't too bad. Thanks for a great day to our wonderful friends!

4th of July Princess!

Eating a popsicle at the pool! yummy!

Aunt Kristin made cupcakes and Alivia LOVED them!

Fun times with Shannon!

This is her new thing. She likes to push the wagon all over the place. She almost pushed the wagon in the pool today. lol

We ended the night playing and doing sidewalk chalk with our wonderful neighbors.

And the tantrums continue....

We have had quite the week of tantrums since we came back from Las Vegas. Friday night we tried to go out to dinner and ended up getting all of our food to go at Applebees once the food was delivered to our table. lol! This morning nothing seemed to satisfy Alivia. I always feel terrible having to put her in timeout but we definitely have to do something when she is hitting or deliberately NOT listening. This morning I even cried a little while she was in timeout because she kept raising her hands up at me saying, "ma, ma, ,ma, ma!" It just broke my heart. I know this is just a stage that will probably last for a while but I just hope we aren't starting timeout too early with her. I am just not sure what else to do when she needs to know that what she is doing is wrong. After Alivia gets out of timeout (1 min and a half) we always have her sign "sorry" and give us a hug. She does a pretty good job at that. Alivia, we LOVE you just the same. You are just one smart cookie!! :)

Ma, ma, ma, ma!

After timeout Ben decided to get out the babybjorn and walk her around outside. We haven't used this since she was a little baby. This definitely was a cure but then she got upset because she had to come back inside. lol!! Daddy was just trying to relieve mommy for a while. he, he!

Happy Birthday Grandma Stewart

Grandma and Grandpa Stewart's birthdays are 2 days apart. Today is Grandma Stewart's birthday. We stopped by after GAGE to surprise Grandma for a birthday visit. Alivia LOVES her some grandma time...especially when Grandma reads to her. She LOVES books! Happy Birthday Grandma Stewart! You are the best grandma and mom ever! We love you! Love, Alivia

Gymnastics Express

As I have posted before we have been going to GAGE Friday mornings for open gym with teacher friends. I know I really don't need to take pictures every time she goes but every time I say I am not going to take pictures she starts doing something different that I haven't caught on camera yet. This morning we were the first ones there and Alivia remembered right where to put her shoes. She usually just follows the other kiddos so I was suprised she remembered all by herself today. Our little girl is growing up so so fast and with this is bringing quite a little stubborn attitude! He, he! We just LOVE her spunky personality and her constant giggles. I can't believe next week she will be 17 months. What a big girl! I didn't get any of the big slide pictures today but that is her obsession...climbing up the big slide. She is definitely a little monkey!

Putting her shoes away all by herself!

Peek-a-boo

She played on this little slide for a while today.

What a fun swing!

Surprise...Aunt Kristin came to play too today!

Jumping like a big girl on the trampoline!
