Happy Halloween

We had a wonderful Halloween tonight. We started the evening by trick or treating at Grammy's house. Then we went to Grandma and Papa Stewart's house. While we were there we visited some of their neighbors. Then we went to the Hunt's house to visit lots of friends!! Last, we went home for the neighborhood hayride and ended the night helping mommy and daddy pass out candy. It was such a great night. Alivia even said trick or treat when she got to the door and was such a big girl. We hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. We definitely have candy to fill us up for days!! I am hoping to sneak some of it in the trash, he, he! Good night everyone!

Looking at all the candy!!!

Getting sleepy but still wanted to help pass out candy and eat suckers. I am pretty sure she had about 5 of these suckers!!

She LOVED passing out candy. Every time a kid came to the door she would say, "THEIR COMING MOMMY!!" It was adorable! :)

Pumpkin Carving Time!

After pumpkin pancakes it was time for some carving fun. We usually carve a few pumpkins but we had our pumpkins stolen a few days ago so we just did one this year. Yes, remember that big pumpkin my dad brought us and I blogged about it last week? I think the big pumpkin attracted the pumpkin thiefs. :( We still had fun doing one though. Daddy found his design on the internet and stenciled it in. Alivia had fun digging through the pulp and didn't mind touching it at all. We baked our seeds as well and Alivia LOVED them. Great job Daddy! :)

Digging the pulp out...

Thought it was cool that the lid fit like a puzzle...

Still digging...

Making her pile full of pulp...

Daddy designing diligently..

Color break time while Daddy was finishing. I thought I would let her use markers for the first time at home. She has used markers at Janet's house, at my school and at grandma and papa's house but not at our house yet. lol! She kept saying "markers mommy, markers!" So I got one out and she did fabulous. I was also really impressed with how well she held the marker....what a great grip she has! I know, I know, speaking like a kindergarten teacher! :)

Our cute jack-o-lantern....

Pumpkin Pancakes

This morning we woke up and thought it would be fun to make pumpkin pancakes. Alivia did a great job of helping me pour the ingredients in and mix the batter. The pancakes turned out yummy! It was a fun start to our Halloween morning!

Pouring the milk in....

So fun Mommy!

Stiring and enjoying every minute of it....

Using the pumpkin cookie cutter to make the shape in her pancake...

Yummy...

Alivia's pumpkin pancake...she took a bite out of it before I took the picture. lol!

Grammy's Handmade Skirt

Grammy sewed Alivia a super cute skirt. I was so excited for her to wear it to Janet's house today for their pumpkin activities. I couldn't get a full picture of the outfit because taking a picture of her is pretty hard these days. lol! Thanks for the skirt Grammy! We love you!

Play Time with the Neighbors

Tonight our neighbors Ryan and Chase came over to play while their parents were at Chase's parent-teacher conference. We always LOVE playing with the boys. Ben especially LOVES playing football with them outside. I even made an interception from Ben twice tonight, he, he!! Alivia enjoyed stealing the ball from them as well. Thanks for a great night of fun boys!! You are such great kids and we always enjoy spending time with you! :)

Night Time with Daddy

Daddy and Alivia have started a new thing where they set the tent up in the living room and eat popcorn and read books before bed time. It is the cutest thing ever. Yes, I would have to say I get quite jealous sometimes and climb inside the tent as well. They are so cute together!

Kisses...

Priceless...I just LOVE this picture!!

Our Weekend full of Football!

We had another busy but super fun weekend. We were especially happy that MU and the CHIEFS won!! What a great weekend for celebrating football! Enjoy the pics and have a fabulous week! :)

Alivia's first ring pop. We went to our neighbors football game. It was so much fun watching the little kids play football. Ryan's team even won!!! :)

We had fun watching the MU game at Chad's uncle's house. Alivia was quite the little ham. She was obsessed going around with my camera and saying "cheese" to everyone as she took their picture. It was quite funny. She lasted until 10:15 that night and then crashed in the car. She was such a good girl!

Her first time eating fried chicken on the bone! he, he!!

GO CHIEFS! "Papa" got to watch Alivia all by himself today since Grandma Stewart and Grammy were in Mexico. Ben and I went to the game with Chad and Kristin. This was my anniversary present to Ben back in September! :)

Kristin and I. We had a lot of fun at the game together! :)

Our Big Girl

Today I tried to capture some of Alivia's 20 Months big girl moments! She is definitely changed a lot the last 2 months! She is talking so much now which is a good and a bad thing at times, he, he! She really impresses us with how much she knows every day. I am pretty sure she teaches US something new she knows every day. She LOVES saying her favorite colors, coloring, practicing her letters and sounds and reading books!!! SHE absolutely LOVES books! I can't believe she will be 2 in February. It seems like just yesterday she was in my tummy! We are so proud to be her parents. She makes us smile many times a day. Hope you enjoy the pics and video.

Alivia with my camera going around saying, "cheese" to every object in the house

So Ben and I thought Alivia was up to no good until we found her in her room reading a book to herself. It was honestly the cutest thing ever. She was pointing to the pictures she knew and saying the words. We were so proud! :)

Ornery.....

She can climb in and out of her bed......:( She has only climbed out once but she fell flat on her face so she hasn't done it again. Thank goodness she isn't a little bit taller or else she would probably be doing it more. We are hoping to keep her in her crib as long as possible. We will see about that.

Climbing....

Alivia singing the ABC's!! Doesn't she look like a little student sitting in the big chair with my spiral notebook and pencil?? I have been trying for a while now to get her singing the ABC's on video. Of course, every time she does it on her own I can't get it on video. She does pretty good at saying what letter comes next but I had to help her in the video. Hopefully I can get a better video soon! ENJOY!

She was also in the same sorority as me but at a different school so I like to call her my sister! ha! Well we had a blast and I even got Carrie's attention with my Tri Sigma shirt! At the end of the concert when she was thanking each section of the crowd I held up my shirt and she gave me the Tri Sigma Love sign and even said it too! Oh, how that made my night and I am going to go ahead and call her my BFF now!!!! lol! She is OH so talented!!! Enjoy the pics!
