Parents as Teachers Visit

This morning Stacey came, our parents as teachers lady. We LOVE her! Alivia was quite a different girl since the last time Stacey saw her so it was a fun visit. Alivia greeted her at the door by waving and saying, "Hi!" to her. It was too cute! The last time Stacey came she gave me the list of receptive words that Alivia should be working on for 8-14 months. I remember thinking WOW, 40 words?? But Alivia got all of them this morning..YEH! There are 15 words on the 14-18 month list so now we can work on those! She actually loves learning the words so I don't feel bad working on them with her. She also pointed to a babies eyes, nose, head, belly button and toes. She doesn't get the body parts all of the time so I was quite shocked when she did that. Her new favorite thing is playing and saying "ball." She rolled the ball back and forth with Stacey and LOVED IT! She also loved playing with her shape sorter. She got the circle and the triangle shape in this time. She is becoming quite the little show off and ornery as can be! She showed Stacey how she is literally a monkey now and is becoming quite stubborn when Mommy says no. Stacey said we might have a little smartie pants on our hands because she would look back at us like "ha, ha!" and then do something she wasn't supposed to do. Needless to say it is quite funny but I think our firmness is going to have to come out a little early for her, he, he! Well we had a great visit with Stacey and are so proud of our little girl! Don't grow up too fast Alivia! Here are a few pictures from last night and this morning!
Daddy showing Alivia the wagon!
So ready for summer pool and wagon time!! :)
Alivia's new hair bow clip...not too sure about this! She finally has just enough hair to have a clip!
